That would be great! That way I can start on it again. I have been invited to do an exhibition in Kansas City from 1-4 through 3-22-08. The opening is 1-4 and then I can start on it next week when I return. I really appreciate it and am sorry for the delay. Happy New Year!

I have tried it twice and just can't get the feathers the way that I want them. I am going to give it a go again here sometime after the holidays. I am sorry for the delay, but I guess I found a bird that is really challenging. Happy Holidays!

I should have known the Patriots were your team being from the northeast. Had a little trouble Sunday, but still put a win in the mix. I do believe they will be in the Super Bowl this year again but it will be a challenge with Green Bay and Dallas. AFC is shaky this year, especially the Colts. Don't know who I want in the Super Bowl (KC is really limping). Gave all of my left overs away to the family (we had two dinners) and didn't get to enjoy leftovers. Bet the soup was excellent. I checked out your recent journal and it is a wonderful idea. Now that I have a digital camera to observe me 3 feeders, hopefully I will be able to participate. Our Oklahoma birds can be quite comical and agressive especially when the season progresses and food is lacking. Had our first snow yesterday, just a dusting. Definitely put me into the holiday spirit except I will miss riding my motorcycle. Just too cold. Had to be up in the 50's to 60's-that way I can wear my leathers to stay warm. Any colder, and I'm a wimp! LOL Enjoyed talking to you and look forward to hearing from you soon again. Take care, and enjoy the planes flying overhead!

Go" New England Patriots" I live only about 10 miles away from Foxborough stadium, when they have a home game with a fly over, the jets stage right over the house, so I get to see the planes twice.. once out front and the second time on TV... so this should answer your Football question.
finished most of the leftovers last night... now all I have to do is boil up the carcass and make my famous turkey soup to finish it off. ( Sundays dinner)

I should say that it does since I don't usually eat too much. lol It is snowing here (can you believe it in November and in Oklahoma?). I am fixing my second Thanksgiving dinner to take to a family in another part of the state tomorrow. I do believe that I will definitely be tired of turkey except to draw one! Also I am so glad that Arkansas beat LSU today! I am an avid University of Kansas fan (a jayhawker by birth) and can't wait until the game tomorrow evening. I sure hope they do not loose to the Mizzo Tigers. Talk about a bummer! Do you like football (college or national)? My favorite national team is KC Chiefs (bad season so far). Take care and stay warm!

I have been drawing all my life and only started painting seriously in 2005 ..... I'd daubled in it since 1999 but 2005 was when I really got into it.

You are very welcome! I love seeing a fellow pencil/scratchboard artist's work. It is fantastic! Did you always mix drawing with painting, or which one came first? I tried to paint, and unfortunately, I failed. I know how you feel about the judging of your entry. My entry for the Oklahoma Duck stamp made finals, but wasn't chosen. Lucky me, the 18th year in a row! lol We all hear the same line "Maybe next year", but it doesn't keep us from entering!

You are so fortunate that you have access to such wonderful color. The trees are still green here, but some of them are just "thinking" of turning.
